This session explains how Risk Adjustment differs from traditional fee-for-service models and why it plays a critical role in reimbursement, quality reporting, and population health.

Our featured speaker, Marciana Jones — “The Coding Coach” of Allied Health Prep Academy — will provide both foundational education and a practical day-in-the-life look at working as a Risk Adjustment / HCC Coder. She will walk attendees through how Risk Adjustment works in real practice, what coders actually do in these roles, and how to prepare for this growing specialty.
